In the documentary series "Expedition Heimat" people from all over the world who have been living in Germany for some time are accompanied to their old homeland. This episode takes one of the two AMRIT founders Harmeet Bans from Berlin to Thane near Mumbai.

The city of millions and home of the two Bans brothers is called Thane and has grown into the megacity Mumbai. From Thane, the camera accompanies Harmeet "Bunty" Bans through India, e.g. to Amritsar and the Golden Temple, the main site for Sikhs. It continues from Punjab to Goa.
